“This country is going to the dogs.”
A simple sentence, but not a simple subject. However, I did hear someone actually say that very quote. I couldn’t help but question that stranger. Honestly, he would have a concrete response because wisdom comes with age? He had plenty of age. So a simple question: “Why?”
“Because that man is bringing socialism into our country.”
I admit, conversations lately have been too political. But I need to make an observation. Do we not live in a socialist country already?
Think about it: Social Security, Social Services, Public Schools, Public Transportation, Food Stamps, Law Enforcement, and Bailouts. All socialist, all controlled by our government. A friend was telling me about the local court siding with a man who was suing his ex-wife for smoking in front of his children. But Obama is bringing this to the table?
So recently, a reform comes along to improve the health of many Americans whom cannot afford healthcare. As a result, Republicans (not all) are now trying to overthrow our government and stir myths like leaves in an Autumn wind.
Where were these whom Repeal while the Bush Administration was in office? I have no idea, but all I hear is Christian opinions (even though we separate church and state) and economic ideas from the party that spent $977159610680 on Operation Iraqi Freedom. What about Operation American Freedom? (To be bias, there’s no oil or weapons involved.)
Theories of conserving traditional ways of Capitalism will result as an answer to everything are already proven incorrect. If conserving was what your party was doing, then why was Barack Obama left with such a terrible mess to clean?
In an ever changing universe, can we conserve anything? The law of change and motion says energy cannot be created or destroyed, only changed. All I present to the argument is that we voted for change. You voted to conserve and lost.
Going to the dogs? Too early to know. Socialism? Sure. Obama? A result of prejudice. (In my opinion, of course.)
